The site inclusion process varies from one search engine to another. Some search engines will list your site as soon as you confirm your submission by clicking a link in the confirmation e-mails that they send you. Others have human editors who review individual submissions and decide which ones to list and which to reject. Most search engines take one to ten weeks to list new sites.
